[SHIP] Halo UNSC Frigate

I created Frigate from Halo, because I think nobody else did it and it´s great ship.
This is my first mod, so It´s not perfect, but I´m really happy with how it turned out.
There are not any custom weapons,sounds etc, because I´m not that skilled at modding.

So, I took her out for a spin and she's fully functional except for one thing, namely the engine room, which goes all dark when powered (I'd gamble and say it's related to the console images, perhaps because of room's nonstandard size). The run ended with a rather unfortunate encounter with a drone ship, but aside from that it was smooth sailing.

One thing that kinda surprised me was the weaponry. According to Halo wiki, UNSC frigates are primarily missile based vessels, plus one MAC. My suggestion would be to replace the burst laser with a basic laser (as to simulate a MAC, provided you are not willing to dip into the waters of weapon modding) and add three Leto launchers. This is effectively the same firepower as Kestrel B, while slightly harder due to the fact that one has to keep track of their missiles - actually a pretty good balancing decision since it means that a player must regulate their firepower, rather than constantly firing all weapons.

Been interested in doing something like this myself but could not find the right images, did you find the image from the internet or make it yourself, also if you are Halo Fans you can go download the Pelican I made http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=21482 (Fishing for downloads hahaha)

Interesting, to me engines are looking normal, i will look at it. And I planned to change weapons anyway :) Isnt 3 leto missiles too much?

The ship image is from internet, I just had to cut out the background, shield and room images are from the game.

... In retrospect, yes, it actually is. Heh, I think I somehow forgot that missiles pierce shielding, making it so that you have extreme firepower throughout all of the game. :lol:

I had the same issue with the rooms going dark on my halo destroyer mod lol the issue is the room glows, if you don't have the glow images set for the rooms, when they power up the rooms, they will go dark. It is easy to get the glows though just use paint.net and add new layer and so on.
