[SHIP] F-15 Fighter "Eagle"

- Introduction -
So you might notice. This is my first post on this forum.
Yes! This is my first mod.
I may not be familiar to you, but I suppose you might (I highly doubt though...) seen me on other online games as DrMrBlueX. Lemme quickly sum up that name so you might not be like "da heck?"
So I found a game called Minecraft (as you most likely already know about) and this was around the time we were learning about roman numerals in math. X was 10. I was 10 at the time. My favorite color was blue. Blue10? No. BlueX. Yes. What? BlueX was taken? How about MrBlueX. What the heck! Still taken? DrBlueX? No. DrMrBlueX? Yes! (i checked DrMrBlueX before MrDrBlueX :O)

Creative. Isn't it?

I will of course be open to suggestions and problems you might have with the ship.
As explained in the description of the mod (viewed with the mod manager), I explain how this ship only helps me
towards making a more unique ship. Not a base found on google images, and just worked on in the ship editor.

Now, as I said, I will be open to problems you may have with the ship.
This is not an okay way to point out why you dislike it:
this ship is awful, just get rid of it or meh i dont like it very well
Instead, I would appreciate it if you point out one or more specific things that you don't like or have concerns about and explain how I might approach it again.
So pretty much don't say that you don't like the engines because they are off from the engines on the base image and not how I might fix that. Now of course if you say something like "I don't like how the weapons are positioned on the ship, but I don't know how you might fix that." I consider that an fix it or attempt to if I am not sure exactly how to fix whatever you are pointing out.

Sorry if I seem kinda defensive of my work, but I am going to state this now:
This is not my BEST work, but nor is it my worst.
Then you may say, "Don't post it if its not good."
Well, that's the reason why I am posting it. If people think it's bad, too many issues, not a good concept, etc, then I'll take it off and start anew, most likely on a different concept.
If it's good, I'll keep it on, and just make improvements along the way and also begin on other projects.

I hate long introductions. Let's cut it off here :D

- Story -

Ah. Something I put a lot of time into. (sarcasm)

You're an air-force rookie, just finished with training. A secret service agent grabs you and pulls you aside.
"Listen. No questions. We have an advanced fighter capable of space travel. You're the smartest one here, and we've chosen you and another rookie to join you on the fighter."
He brings you to the hangar, where the futuristic F-15 "Eagle" fighter awaits.

A fighter in space? At least now it makes some sense :mrgreen:

- General Info -

*bold indicates an important part that will be a key player in changing non-modded gameplay
Starts with:

- 2 humans
- Leto
- Dual Laser
- Improved engines
- Level 2 pilot (Support auto-pilot)
- Level 1 shields
- Level 2 weapons
- Everything else is level 1

Supports/Doesn't Support:
- Drone control
- Cloaking
- Does NOT support teleporter
- 4 weapons
- 2 drones

- Mod Compatibility -

First off, any other mod that replaces the Kestral-A ship will definitely cause issues.
Second, most likely any mods that overwrite the Leto and Dual Laser weapons (Not as in what they look like or what their projectiles shoot, but rather if you replace Leto with a different missile weapon that does more or less damage or something) then your gameplay will differ from what is expected by me, with you're vanilla F-15 ship.

Otherwise I would say other things are good to go, think of this ship as a different ship, that just replaces the Kestral-A ship. Nothing more than that.

- Installation -

1) First of all you're going to be needing the Slipstream Mod Manager.
Download it here: http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17102
Drop its contents (all the modman.exe, readme_modders.txt things) into your FTL directory <-- (C:/Program FIles/FTL/ or something like that)

2) Assuming you've already downloaded the .ftl file for this mod, place it in your "mods" folder in your FTL directory

3) Run modman.exe. You should get CMD opening (not sure for mac/linux), and then the actual interface will open.

4) Select this mod. You might see the Beginning Scrap Advantage or your other mods with it, but just find this one.

5) Select "Patch". This will change your game's data and resources files and actually change your game.

6) Close out of unnecessary programs, and start your game!
7) ???
8) Profit

This is actually a pretty good ship. You should be proud that this is what your first mod is.

On the top side of the ship, you should mirror the weapons (double click, then check "mirror").

I'll go ahead and fix the weapons, because after I started playing with the ship I realized the weapons were strangely positioned.
