I can't insult well, but someone should really insult shark for writing all this BS because of an overambitious mod request thread.

Lets not and say we did.

This topic is meant to be on the discussion of the feasibility and implementation of turn based combat, please keep it focused on just that.

Actually, I think this can be done without mods. I'm pretty sure advanced gaming mouses can run macros that simulate a series of key presses. If you pause the game right away, and set up one that simulates pushing space to unpause, waiting however long you want the turn to be, and then pushing space again you could get turns. It wouldn't be perfect, but it's pretty close to actual turn-based gameplay.

it would require mod support to adjust reloadtimes to macro times to make it a viable workaround.
@jamotide: you can always send me a PM. but unless you're a 15 year old kid, you probably learned that you should simply not get insulted on the Internet. i believe the saying is "grow a thicker skin". when you express yourself publicly, you should be ready public criticism/commentary. when one asks for a solution, he better be ready to answer the question "what have you tried?" because it shows a clear picture of how much effort that person put into the idea. eventually you will be tired of literally wasting your time teaching someone who doesn't want to put even the slightest effort into it whatsoever. he's simply disrespecting your time, the time you took to help him reach his solution. in the real world, you either put up effort or money (you can check the validity of that by applying it to any other subject) and guess what happens when you put up nothing...
