[Bug] Statistics Screen Crash-to-Desktop when swapping from mouse to controller (Steam v1.1.21)

With the most recent patch that added controller support (v 1.1.21), I have found a repeatable crash-to-desktop bug at the Statistics screen.
1) From the main menu, and while using the mouse controls, go to the Statistics screen.
2) Select one of the top scores to bring up a run summary.
3) Press a controller button to attempt to swap to controller mode.
It will then crash to desktop.
The reverse (going from controller mode to mouse controls while examining a top score), does not crash.
I believe it is a fairly minor issue, since most people will probably not be swapping between controller and mouse modes while at the Statistics screen. But I at least wanted to let you know about this strange edge case.
