Does pre igniter work with artillery beam

Just a point of interest here, I'm curious if the pre igniter works with the artillery beam. If it does that seems pretty powerful

It only works with your main guns. Artillery is unaffected.

The Weapon Pre-Igniter doesn't work, but the Automated Reloader does, which can be pretty handy.
