Game not launching

I recently bsod while playing FTL. A reason not dealing with FTL itself. Unfortunately after the bsod the game won't run. 3 out of 4 times the game doesn't even display! It just sits their using around 7,000 K ram. The 1 out of 4 times it manages to display the loading screen, where it loads. Although when it finishes loading the game just crashes.

I've already verified the games integrity and re installed. I'm still getting the same problem.
