Hello Devs. and other player.

first of all, great Idea and great game, that fore i supported u guys with purchasing this game legal on Steam.

But, after 2 days playing im raging extreemly out, because every time come a situation i cant handle with on first 3 sectors and i play on easy oO
Most of ships on first sector have drones, missles and beams, even on easy i didnt get enough scrap to purchase enough ship updates to deal with them?!
With maximum strenght i was able to survive till end of 2 sector, then i was boarded by 5 pirates ( or whatever) vs my 3 of crew even with blast doors n med bay impossible and i lose again, and again and hundert of times that way, it seems that the AI exactly knows, which damages your ship has, which weapons, how many and what kind of crew......
And use exact thing especial against it, i see no chance to win.

In my opinion AI is cheating.

And, dare I mention it, English in general.

On a more constructive note, I highly recommend the various strategy guides and reading up on various tactics.

For example: make sure you get maximum time and profit out of each sector before moving on to the next one. That means never exiting a sector until you're barely one step ahead of the Rebel scum.

Tip 2: Fire everything in volleys and try out as many tactics as you can think of.

If all else fails, there's always Xbox or Playstation if you just want to feel powerful and awesome.

Learn from your mistakes. I'm 0 for 16, but learning from my mistakes and picking up a few tips every now and then on the board, I can now consistently make it up to a bit over half way through the boss. Only time I don't is if I get unlucky early and lose a fight that I couldn't do anything about or that I save too long for that next major upgrade and get overpowered in sector 5-7.

I've beaten the game on easy and normal and I agree completely. The game is unfairly stacked against you; one needs to be lucky(and skilled) to win. Not just that the AI will get several lucky dodges making all of your previous efforts to wear them down mean nothing, but even getting the right encounters is all luck.

Games are about skill and fun; while an element of chance is needed to make a game interesting, a game that requires just as much luck as skill is boken and will be cause more frustration than enjoyment.


As for playing this broken beta now; the best runs i've had are the ones where I take my time and fight as many people as possible; I know some people that try to get to the exit as fast as they can, but this leaves you with less stuff and no advantage.
