FTL Loading Screen Crash [UNRESOLVED]

Ever since i beat FTL:AE I went online to mod it. I got the Captains Edition and the newest version of SMM but now whenever i try to play the game vanilla or modded it crashes showing this
I've already deleted and reinstalled the game on steam. I've also checked the old C++ bug with FTL but that wasn't it. PLEASE HELP!!
