FTL is too large to fit my screen. 1920x1080 resolution.

I have a 1920x1080 display, and I can't get FTL to fit on my screen. I tried fiddling with my resolutions- I set it back to the original resolution that the game was designed on- but it only zoomed in to an absurd amount. Fullscreen is out of the question entirely. I tried several re-installations to no avail.

Help me FTL community- you're my only hope.

I'd suggest playing with a smaller resolution or use Windowed Mode. That way you can easily switch between tasks while playing.

Then again, Windowed Mode might be the solution. If you don't like the ugly toolbar at the top, I think you can slide the window upwards and carefully hide it in the corner.

Try setting it to "Fullscreen (Stretch)" in the options menu, this way FTL should use up your complete screen.

I can even play it on my old netbook this way (Resolution 1024x600).

If I use a smaller resolution I just get a higher zoom.

And if I use full-screen, I get a hyper-zoom that looks like it would be at home on a 70 inch tv.

FTL does not have a resolution setting. How did you set it to 1920x1080? All it has is fullscreen or not. If you set it Fullscreen, it is fullscreen. If you set it to not be fullscreen it's actually 720 pixels high.

Did you fiddle with your graphic card drivers to get it to display at a different resolution? If so, set those back. If not, show a picture of the screen where you made the setting to display it at 1920x1080.

I never changed any settings from the factory settings and I've no idea how to do that.

Okay, I got a response from the support ticket I issued. I needed to disable DPI scaling from the FTLGame.exe>properties>compatibility menu.
