I have had the new repair station event in sector 8 a number of times, and I have never seen that station appear. Now maybe that station is always taken over by the rebels before I see it, but in my last game, I got this event right away, so I figured now I'd have a chance, when the rebels haven't taken over most of the sector yet. Nope. No new station.

Is this a bug? Is the station in the next sector? Or am I just so unlucky that it has always been at a beacon the rebels take over the next turn?

Myself had this event numerous times and never saw a new repair station appear. By numerous I mean very many times.
