Fullscreen mode works fine but I prefer playing games in windowed mode.

Any sugestions as to how to fix this is welcome.

Have you tried manually changing things in settings.ini?

I did mess around in the ini files and nothing seamed to work, even setting the X and Y to 1920x1080 to see if the game just doesn't run in smaller resolutions. But it had the same results.

In "settings.ini" there is a section called "#Manual resolution choices - overrides anything in the options". Please try changing those to set the values there to match your screen size and then restart the game.

For example:

screen_y=800
windowed=1
stretched=0
