- Cloaking system like in FTL, ship image becomes n% transparent and every shoot fired at the ship misses for a short time.
- Zoltan-like shield.
- Worm holes like Bear has mentioned before.
- Freeze ray as an option instead of a hand-held blaster that freezes people for n seconds. [#]
- The ability for players and npcs if possible to mine asteroids instead of shooting them, I believe this would sometimes be funner.

How are things going with Tachyon?. . .
Well.. anyway.
I've been extremely ill the past month, and because of this I haven't been able to speak or anything on the forums, so I'm really sorry.
I'm still going to be in the hospital but I wanted to come say hi before I go for a while again.
I'm really looking forward to playing Tachyon with you guys again.

I was thinking maybe a Tachyon subreddit would be nice. It would help to spread the word about the game and get some more feedback and contribution. Just a thought since I can't draw or code.
