Are you using any mods now that you weren't at the time that save was made?

Am I the only one checking every 15 minutes for a v22 update allowing saveable changes to saved games?

The excitement is palpable.

Nope. I've been leaving this page open and constantly refreshing it like a madman :P

EDIT: Thanks Vhati for fixing the bugs! Wish I could help you with the Greek letters but i don't know how to code sadly. :D

No coding required. Mainly patience, observation, and luck.

For instance...
In the dump under "Current Encounter", there's "Kappa?..." which is a list of numbers, usually a lone zero.
I've got a hunch that's remembering choices made so far, when you save mid event. A list containing: choice #0 for the first prompt, choice #3 for the second, etc., and lastly, #0 for the final "continue" (the only available choice for that prompt).

Then I'd play until I ran into an especially prompty event and confirm my suspicion that Kappa would be long and match the choices I'd made. (I haven't checked this yet.)

I'd guess those "(Crystal only)" crew values probably include something about lockdown. (I haven't checked this yet.)

One time a guy got mind controlled, so I compared him to my other crew - and himself in a previous dump - and saw "Delta?" went from 0 to 1. Might be "mind controlled=true". (That one I did confirm). Etc. This is where that app I mentioned, WinMerge, comes in handy. You give it two dumps, and it highlights whatever changed.

or you could do like I'm doing and simply go to the very bottom and hit subscribe topic. You get an email everytime someone posts on the thread. Then you can quickly check if it was Vhati that posted or not.

I mean unless you hardly check your email...

Okay, so I opened the editor up, and it worked, then I tried to edit a saved game, and the only option was "Dump" So, I need help to figure out how the bugger works. Thanks!

People that take the trouble to register and ask questions but don't take the trouble to read the OP make no sense at all.

Anyway I have figured out a few variables used in DoorID:

Alpha is current door strength
Beta is door strength minus progress made toward breaching it
Gamma is the nominal door strength (hacking does change this value for some reason)

values
4 is level 0 (un-upgraded system or system broken)
8 is level 1
12 is level 2
18 is level 3 (max plus crewed)
50 is lockdown
hacking appears to increase door strength to the next available level


Epsilon is for drone lockdown
0 is false
1 is hacking drone attached, not active
2 is active hacking
