Hi Justin. I created that wiki under the impression that it will help others who as you mention are actively looking for solutions-- most wikis I know have operated under the concept that spoilers will be apparent. So far I have sourced most of the information on that wiki on discussions people have had in places like this forum, the Get Satisfaction pages and Reddit. I hope you will allow us to continue posting content there, and in turn I will post information on the wiki about the spoilerish nature of the site.Justin wrote:For the record... I do not feel comfortable with pulling back the curtain in this manner. Figuring out and posting solutions and suggestions is one thing, unpacking and potentially redistributing edited content during a closed beta is another. The game is not publicly available and we are not done with a lot of this yet.
What's done is done.
At least try to allow people (who are not actively searching for guides) to find out how to unlock the new slug ship on their own. Please use *SPOILER* warnings if you're deconstructing every new event that we spent however many hours this past week working on. Thanks.
Actually I'm a bit surprised that people have found out about the wiki as I've never advertised it and it hasn't come up in regular Google searches yet--"ftl wiki", "faster than light wiki", "ftl wikia", and "faster than light wikia" have failed to turn up the wiki on the first pages of those searches (although I'm sure that will change in time).
