Full Arsenal

The "Full Arsenal" achievement says I have to have "every system and subsystem installed at once." What exactly does this mean? That I have 4 weapons, 3 augmentations, and maybe however many drones installed? That sounds easy, but I think I've done that (maybe not the drones). Do they all have to be powered?
Then again, the doors, scanner, and piloting computer are labeled "subsystems" in the lower left-hand corner of the game screen. Those are already installed, however. Do they have to be fully upgraded?
I'm confused.

I believe it just means you have to have the cloak, teleporter, et al, as well as all the subsystems installed.
Don't need upgrades, just have to be there.

So to be clear, it has nothing to do with augments, and it doesn't care how many weapons/drones you have equipped.

Yup. As the achievement states: "every system and subsystem installed at once." So to be absolutely clear, that list is:
Systems:
Shields
Engines
Oxygen
Medbay
Teleporter
Cloaking
Weapons
Drones
SubSystems:
Doors
Sensors
Piloting
You do not have to own a single weapon, drone, or augment to complete that achievement. Just the system that would power them.

Hmm. So with the Kestrel, all I need to do is buy a teleporter, a cloak, and the drone launcher/controller/thingamajig. That sounds remarkably easy. Actually, I'm not sure I've seen the drone whatsit more than a couple of times. Maybe that's the challenge.

It's designed to be pretty easy. You shouldn't have any troubles. The other two Kestrel achievements are harder. For the "have 6 different crew races" make sure to visit a large variety of alien sectors and pick one up in each sector... they are more common in their respective sections of the galaxy

Oh and for the 'survive with one hp' achievement, also note that you have to survive a combat with 1 hp then go to a store and purchase a full repair to unlock this one. So if you like heal your self with a repair drone or get some free repair from an event this will preclude you from being able to unlock this achievement. As far as I know you have to go from 1 hp to full in on store stop.

Thanks. I didn't think it had to be combat, though. If I didn't get the pluralism achievement this play-through, I was planning to check my wallet and carefully utilize a self-targeting weapon while outside a storefront.

It's always easier to just depower your shield.
