Occasionally when I quit the game (from the menu, so far it hasn't happened when quitting from the main page yet), the graphics apparently go kablooie. The app appears to quit and I have control of the mouse and seem to have some control, it's impossible to see anything on screen because the graphics have been completely garbled. From my logs I find this line at what appears to be the right time repeated several times before I'm forced to to a hard reboot (I can't see the shutdown menus) I even tried a reboot over SSH and it didn't appear to work, but maybe I didn't wait long enough.

"kernel[0]: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel exception! exception type = 0xd = Graphics Engine Error (GR Error 5)"

Macbook Pro Mid-2009
OS X 10.9.2
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
8GB RAM

Anyone else have this issue. It seem fairly serious as most mac crashes don't make the system unusable.

That is rather intense. I have not had anyone else report something similar to that on OSX. Closest I've seen is with some Linux versions on out of date video drivers, which I doubt could be the problem for you.

From your description, I assume you're running in Fullscreen. Can you try it in Windowed for a bit to see if you get similar behavior?

I'll give that a try for a while and post any updates.

UPDATE: Okay played a few more games in windowed mode and so far no issues. The issue might be related to to full screen play as the screen garbling happens when doing the transition out of full screen on quit.
