Subset Games Forum

I closed the game down today to go eat and when I relaunched it, everything was gone. I've done a restore, I've looked into the files and there's only ae_prof.sav . I had unlocked several ships and alternate builds, so having this happen for no reason is pretty upsetting. Is there anything else that I can do to get my progress back? I really don't want to start all over with just the basic starting ship.

Here is what I recommend if everyhting else doesn't work, download the FTL Editor v21 and manually restore everything you had (and maybe even some stuff you didn't have but wish you did). However, some people do feel that it would be better to start all over than to edit the in game content.

It's a reliable option for getting back your unlocks, but obviously not very helpful for recovering your stats

I too have lost progress.

For me it was all my progress since the most recent expansion patch. I had unlocked several layouts for a number of ships. I had just opened the game and changed the screen settings from full screen native to full screen off and then exited and when I reopened it had reset my progress back to that of my progress since the patch.

This sucks! Please fix.

Also any way to recover this or must I do hacks like suggested in the first post?
