Subset Games Forum

I recently decided to have another go of FTL recently. (It's been over a year since I last played). I remember installing some mods, and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with my problem, but I just get this message after starting the game and doing 1 jump. It doesn't matter if I continue an old game or start a new one, the outcome is the same. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

What version have you got? If it's Steam, you can try reinstalling the game (Right click FTL, select Properties and I think one of the tabs has "Verify integrity of game cache" as a button inside of it. That'll find any problems in your files and replace them with clean data)

Because I think that sort of problem occurs from ship mods that don't work under Advanced Edition.
