Subset Games Forum

I may be a bit overconfident, but I believe we (as a community) can revive the game with a groundbreaking mod. I think this game could be as exciting as it was when AE came out at first. I believe if the modding community comes together to produce a mindblowing experience. If anyone would like to join me in this idea, just say the word. If we work together, we can make a mod so awesome, it's played all over the community.

So basically another CE? Sure, that would be awesome. Maybe I can contribute a bit if it seems like it might actually happen. But keep in mind, modding is still quite limited unless we get the ability to change the hardcoding (which is looking more and more possible with the tools some people are making, but it's still hard to work with at least until someone makes a cross-platform trustable mod manager that can handle modifying the executable). But for now I think my time is better spent working on a complete rewrite of the game.
