I encountered a automated scout with 2 mini beams, and i was like " oh god this looks cool as hell" and i think im gonna make my own ship that uses only beam weapons.do you have any ideas how i could improve the look?
As for the weapons and systems, i think ill give it 2 humans, 1 mantis and 1 rock(?), teleporter, cloack and 4 mini beams, so if you have to fight a ship with shields you can tp and destroy its shields from inside.
federation based version 2 - EDIT: im going for federation style.
POGRESS! the ship started flying! it looks really ugly but its finaly flying! it replaces the slug cruiser.
