[Pack] Impact

A pack of mods with content that utilizes Multihit Damage and Weapon Refills.

Each portion of the pack (Squads, Weapons, Pilots, Balance) can be toggled independently

If something refers to a "Refill," what it means is a buff that restores 1 use of each of the target's limited-use weapons. If the target has no such weapons, the refill does nothing.

I'm happy to present my first set of mods, bundled in a small package called Impact. This (at the moment) contains 1 squad, 1 additional drop weapon, and 1 pilot. I have plans to add more in the future, but as of now, here's Impact:




Squads:


The Architects:

Extremely agile, even for a Prime class, but flimsy.
Equipped with the strange Prism Laser, which grows in power the more units you hit with it in one burst.

Build up to absurd damage!

Durable, and no slouch when it comes to movement.
Equipped with the Bastion Dispensary, an artillery unit launcher that generates enough force on impact to force back nearby units.

The Dispensary has a variety of uses.

Manufactured by the Bastion Dispensary
Compact and tough, built to endure high-velocity impacts, but extremely slow.
Unequipped with any weaponry.

Enables such stunning tactical maneuvers as:

Slow, but despite the Science-class designation, possesses heavy armor.
Equipped with the Mass Processor, a (when upgraded) multihit melee weapon that refills uses for all Mechs upon scoring a kill.
Also equipped with the Long-Range teleport, which allows players to shift units into almost any location on the board, excellent for lengthy, complex strategies. Or to just dump things into the ocean. Your choice.

Consume the strongest of foes!

The Teleporter can enable a massive number of possibilities. Make sure you watch those uses though.

The Architects are rife with synergies. Don't be afraid to experiment! Using a valuable teleport to put a Vek into the path of the Prism Laser or using the Mass Processor to consume a Bastion might seem like stupid ideas, but you'll probably be surprised how effective they are!




Pilots:

Madam Moore is an ambassador traveling from abroad. But don't let that fool you, even though her diplomatic ties have connected her emotionally to the fate of humanity, she has rather extensive military experience.
Her ability can make any Mech with limited-use weapons far more effective.

Smart use of Evelyn's ability can make any limited weapon renewably usable.

Equipment:

The Medusa Shredder is a very simple weapon that just attacks an adjacent tile several times. It was more or less just made to demonstrate multihit technology.
But don't underestimate it! It can do 10 damage consistently when fully upgraded, and 20 when boosted.

Balance:

Prism Laser:
Buffs to both starting state and weapon upgrades. Felt too weak to be a squad weapon before.

Supply Drop (Repair Drop):
Added an upgrade and added Refills to the effect. Consequently, renamed to "Supply Drop"




And who might this be? You'll have to wait and see, I suppose.

Not much has changed. Quite a few technical fixes; Prism Mech will be a tad weaker if you play without the rebalance. Otherwise, should be a good snapshot.
