My weapon distribution seems funky now.

4 out of 5 games I don't get enough beam weapons to finish the game. I hit almost every encounter I can and strive to get to every store.

I don't know why this would be, but it seems like there are more 'other' weapons now, and the vendors are often beam, bomb, ion - or beam, missile, bomb etc.

I don't... I dont understand what you mean? you say you don't get enough beam weapon then you say that the vendors have beam, bomb, ion and missile weapons?

Which are you missing ? the sweeping beam or the laser/plasma bolt/beams?

er yeah that was a mess.

I mean I get a lot of beams, bombs, torps and ion now. To me the bread and butter weapons are burst lasers and I really am not seeing them much anymore.

seems like it's been consistent.

ok, you said beam instead of lasers in your first post so I got a bit confused :p
