playable A.I ships

How has no one done this yet? can someone please make a playable AI ships mod (preferably with slugs) if someone could do this it would be mush appreciated.

I don't quite know what you mean by "playable AI ships". Do you mean a mod that replaces one or two of the starting ships with automated ships with no crew? I've got a mod like that in development, I just haven't had much time to work on it. The difficult bit is editing the graphics from the provided AI ship graphics to be more cruiser-size.
But since the ship has no crew, it also doesn't have any slugs, so I don't know if that's what you mean...
Do you mean you want to fly the ships that the game sends against you? Like the slug pirate ships? That'd be fairly straightforward to do, but it wouldn't make very much difference; it'd just give you a very small ship.

Playable AI ships = those gray Auto-Scout/Assault drone-ships, but made playable?
If so, you'd have to seriously rework the floor plans, but beyond that it seems easy enough.

I heard that starting the game with no crew gives you the same bonuses that the auto ships have.

im in the middle of it

Slugs are first, then zoltan then rock. Not doing rebels or human, b/c they need engine fires, which we cant add/change.
