The last four times now during the final boss' second stage (the drone one) I've had the game freeze up and regardless of how long I wait the game never unlocks.

This always happens as a power surge goes off (and all the drones are unleashed) but not always the first one.

I've started playing on easy just because the first two times on normal I believe I could have beaten the boss, and its no fun to spend a couple hours to get to the end and have the game freeze and nothing save. So I tried a few more times on easy and twice now I've made it to this stage and had this happen.

The game is currently sitting at the frozen state if anyone can tell me how to get a crash log I'll post it here.

Because of this the game is literally impossible to beat for me

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to where your steam folder is placed and then this is the directory from there for the crashlogs.

Steam\steamapps\common\FTL Faster Than Light\crashlogs

My folder is empty.

The FTL window froze and went white and said not responding, here's a screenshot:

Is this not a 'crash' because the game didn't shut down?
