Depends on what aspect of FTL's mechanics you're interested in The event system is fairly straightforward. I made a working prototype in OverdriveGDX by extending Vhati's own prototype, which uses the same approach. (repo link)

Well, we are looking for an additional developer, since neither me nor rannl can work on the game full-time, due to other commitments. But I guess that's something you'd discuss with Sleeper in more detail.

Apologies. I had assumed it was fan-sourced and open-access. Good luck anyways. I'll trawl the forums to see the response to my idea, and if there's a good response I'll kick it off with a bit of project engineering on my own foot.

Excellent. I'd like to pick a little more tread on my tracks before I go off tooting my brilliance to the world. To be more precise, I'd like to acquire a little more expertise before I sound off my idea, because it will seem a little big from the outset.
I hear from Sleeper the project is commercial. If there's any documents you'd like me to sign, NDA and whatnot, send them over and I'll print, sign, scan, and send them over.
