My Seventh Sector Fail #2

My second story( my first story is called My Seventh Sector Fail). For those who haven't read it go for it.

This time I was using crystal cruiser 1. I was on an AMAZING start with 2 burst laser 2's, a crystal heavy launcher, and a Pegasus. I had 2 auto-reloaders and 1 pre igniter. Perfect setting right? Apparently not. I made it to the very end of the sector, but not on the exit beacon. This time it wasn't because of some stupid asteroid belt or losing my crew or anything. The exit beacon had been on the very top right corner. I was in the middle right.I thought if I went to the distress beacon above where I was, I could reach the exit and go to the final boss.

Boy was I wrong.

You see, the rebel fleet was close, as you can tell. So I had to roll the dice here. Not so lucky. As I went to the distress beacon and looked at my map, I couldn't reach the exit beacon. Well, you might know what happens next. My calculations were wrong, and now I have to travel BACK INTO the rebel fleet and go around to reach the exit beacon. As you may know, all stores ,when hit by the rebel fleet, get deleted, meaning I had to get this without a single repair. Worst of all, this is on my 7th sector on normal difficulty.

Yes, I died. I reached the final stand sector with 5 hull points.

I have no idea what my next seventh sector fail will be, who knows. All I know is, I hate the 7th sector. It's my jinx sector.

Turn on the option that lets you plan your jumps in advance.

It can be more exiting to play without that option on though. (:
And even with that option active I´ve been forced to backtrack though the rebels at several occations (says more about me then the option).

Unfortunantly, my FTL is an old version, so I only have the first 5 options in the options menu.
