[BUG REPORT] Nebulas + Enemy Fleet = OH GOD

So, I started a playthrough in the Federation Cruiser, and I've discovered what I can only assume to be a bug.

Details:
Federation Cruiser
Difficulty: Easy
3rd System (Nebula)

Starting System -> Mantis System -> Unexplored Nebula

So, I ran out of fuel as I jumped through to the 3rd system. I sat there waiting as the enemy fleet got closer, and finally I have a trader trade 5 fuel for some scrap.
I jump down and to the right, to find that the node I've just jumped to is a dead-end. ;_;

The rebel fleet has now overtaken the System Entry Node. I jump there anyways, but as where it had been a regular "no sensor" nebula before, it's now the fuel-halving ion storm one.
I kill the enemy ship, and jump up and to the right, now in the "red 'x'" area of enemy fleet influence. Again, it's the ion storm.
Jump to the right- same deal.

Now, I could chock it up to really bad luck if it weren't for the entry node having changed from a regular nebula, but I think it's a bug(unless it's intended, of course).

BUG:
WHEN INSIDE REBEL FLEET INFLUENCE AREA IN AN "UNKNOWN/UNEXPLORED NEBULA" SYSTEM, ALL NODES LOCATED INSIDE NEBULAS ARE ION STORMS.
