Manned by the crew of Captain Spizz, Doctor Medic, and the Glue Sniffer.
The first voyage of the S.S. Powered by Poots is not going smoothly. There was a breach of the hull and the enemy ship severely damaged the O2 system in the ship. Doctor Medic and the Glue Sniffer perished fixing the O2 system just in time for Captain Spizz to finish repairing the engines, surviving with only one health.
Captain Spizz has heroically piloted his ship to a few victories in battle against the odds and has outrun the rebel forces to warp to the next sector. He has had to run from a ship in the middle of an ion storm in a nearby nebula and stumbled upon the wreckage of a ship that looks like it was damaged recently. Upon inspection he finds a crew member who made it out alive. He was brought to the the ship until he regained consciousness. His name is Bomfy M and he is the ship's new gunner.
And now we hang our heads in a moment of silence to remember the late Captain Spizz. His courage and heart knew no limits. He stared down adversity and made it a long way in his mission, even after losing his crew.
He answered the call of a distress beacon just out of the exit of the sector. His crew valiantly fought against an invasion of large arachnids that were terrorizing a colony of humans and with his last breaths he told his crew to jump back to the ship as he fought off the oncoming masses of spiders.
Tears streamed down Bomfy's face as he and AJ let out a sad whirring sound as they teleported back to the ship. Bomfy wiped the tears off of his face and made his way to the cockpit of the ship. He rested his left hand on the top of the backrest of the captain's chair and said "It was an honor serving you Captain Spizz. I pledge to honor your memory by completing the mission you and your crew started."
AJ routed power to the engines and reinforced the shields as they made their way to the edge of the sector so they could make their jump to civilian space.
Bomfy's heart is strong but is taking a lot of abuse. He is all alone floating through space now because of a tragic accident. A ship was lodged in an asteroid and they pulled along side of it to check for survivors. Their docking system was destroyed so the only way to enter was to put on their suits and tether themselves to the ship as they made their way inside. In the blink of an eye, tragedy struck. A smaller rock collided with the asteroid the ship was stuck in and pushed it towards the S.S. Powered by Poots. They hulls crashed together and the tension on the tethers was too much and they both broke. Bomfy quickly pushed off of the stranded vessel towards his own ship and grabbed the handle next to the doors. AJ was not so lucky as his momentum carried him away from both ships, floating away in space.
Bomfy did everything he could to quickly enter the air lock and get to the pilot's chair to recover AJ but he had traveled too far away to be picked up by sensors, let alone eyesight. AJ will now be lost among the stars.
Bomfy pours himself a drink as he takes a moment to reflect on his life and gain the composure to carry on.
Bomfy enlisted the help of two more crew members before he charged headlong into the mouth of the enemy. The Federation was being ripped apart by Rebel troops and the Rebel mothership was inching closer and closer to the capital planet. Bomfy piloted bravely, his gunner Jax made great shots and Carter did his best to keep the sheilds at full power. In the end the S.S. Powered by Poots was not enough to match the strength of the Rebel Armada and fell to the hand of the mothership.
