Tsunami Class Battlecruiser
A Ion Battlecruiser, using Zoltan, Slug, and Federation technology, the Tsunami is the pinnacle of electronic warfare technology, designed to disable entire ships with its advanced ion beam. It lacks shields, cloak, and maneuverability, however, these systems can be bought and upgraded.

About the ship:
This is a complete ship mod.
- Custom hull graphic
- Custom weapon
- Custom shield graphic
- Completed floor graphics and gibs

Notes:
- May conflict with my Tengu Type-1 mod, which disables buy-able drone system.
- May conflict with any mod that modifies the Vindicator Beam
- Advanced Ion Beam replaces the Vindicator Beam
- Advanced Ion Beam can be upgraded to level 5
- Tsunami Type-1 was designed to disable ships then finish them off with their heavy lasers
- Tsunami Type-2 was designed to disable ships and then board them with drones and crew members
- Both ships equipped with Ion Shielding and Titanium System Casing augments

In terms of difficulty, this ship is OP because of its Advanced Ion Beam, however, because of its lack of shields, cloak and maneuverability you will be getting hull and system hits more often. Once you get better upgrades/shields/weapons/crew it becomes easier. Haven't fully play tested it yet, so still working out the balancing.

About the mod:
- replaces the Federation Cruiser
- to make it replace a different ship, simply change blueprint name in the blueprints append file

This game uses art assets from the original FTL game. Some of them have been heavily modified to suit the style of the ship.

Ow, nice look. 1 Question, did u manage to set the ion beams to work the right way, as far as i know ion beams are bugged.

And again, a ship that doesnt have shields doesnt need to be hard, there are more important things like engines or pilot , for examples. If u have good engines u dont need to worry about shields. U use to give super firepower to your ships because they doesnt have shields, but i think thats a wrong approach. Good job anyways, im still trying to figure it out in photoshop how to do it that cloaking effect

This is a really good mod, but the ion beam is completely op. Maybe you could make the beam length smaller?
Also, how do you activate the cloak when you upgrade the ion beam fully?

Yea I never really play tested it yet. Maybe I'll add stealth weapons so the clock works.

Really enjoyed playing the Type A ship going to try the Type B ship next. I played on endless and it was, well endless the beginning can be rough but once you have shields and get your Ion Beam up the game might as well play itself. Though i still love the ship!

and from what i`ve seen on Brens videos this ship looks epic.
