Hello FTL Forums,
I would like to report a small bug that I have found today while playing FTL. When depowering a module while changing sectors or having an event automatically do so, as in the case of the Infinite Space mod the game would crash to the desktop.
I have FTL Infinite Space, Balanced Arsenal 1.2, and the Federation Destroyer mods installed.

Can't imagine why the game would crash under those circumstances. Maybe it's a case of mod conflict between the three. When using multiple mods, the mod installed last will overwrite previous mods (sometimes partially, sometimes fully). Infinite Space generally doesn't cause issues, but iirc it should be installed first, followed by Balanced Arsenal then the Fed ship.
I suspect the problem is caused by Balanced Arsenal and IS not being fully compatible together, but i'm not sure. Maybe visit the mod author's thread. Balanced Arsenal has since been integrated into the Captain's Edition mod and developed further.

Thanks for reporting a problem, though crashes/bugs caused by mods are something the mod authors really need to look into. What version of FTL are you playing? (Also is it the Steam/GoG/Website vesrion, Win/Mac/Linux or any other details about your PC)

Hm. Perhaps the issue is with mod compatibility, but I have installed Infinite Space first, then Balanced Arsenal then the Fed Destroyer.UltraMantis wrote:Can't imagine why the game would crash under those circumstances. I'm playing on the latest version, 1.031 I believe, and it's the GoG version.
