This simple mod connects weapon bays of the Rebel flagship to the rest of the vessel:
(added rooms highlighted in green).
UPDATE: Added a dummy "weapon system" to the missile bay; without it the crew will go inside only when there is a hull breach in the room. This is ugly workaround but it works.

http://www.hot.ee/knsgf/boss_hallways_more_boarders.ftl -- adds extra crew, allowing the flagship to send multiple boarding parties during 3rd stage. Doesn't require boss_hallways.ftl.

There is a reason the weapon bays are seperate and disconnected. The boss would be much harder as it allows it to repair weapons as long as it has extra crew.

... And then, if it no longer has any, it still repairs automatically.
On other hand, being harder is not a bad thing, especially if combined with another mods.

This mod does not work. The flagship crew just pretends that they can't access their weapon rooms. The only other mod I have installed is Twinge's Balance mod 6.3 but I doubt it could affect this.

It's a curious bot. It combs the forum for snippets of content then tries to mash it into a seemingly legitimate post. Or more likely it's a poorly paid human that doesn't speak or understand english. In any case the goal is to appear legit, avoid detection, then edit posts or profile later on and add spam links.
