Osprey's artillery is kinda out of control

It kills away teams, burning ships with dying crews and anything else. The only way to stop it is to power it down and then wait for a long time until it powers up, but it still fires on it's own... Is it supposed to be like that? I have a feeling like somebody on my ship hates me and just shoots things at random

I just cut all power when i don't need it then power it once the ship crew is dead

It's completely out of control in the best way possible. It got me to sector 8 pretty much on it's own.
