So, I took her out for a spin and she's fully functional except for one thing, namely the engine room, which goes all dark when powered (I'd gamble and say it's related to the console images, perhaps because of room's nonstandard size). The run ended with a rather unfortunate encounter with a drone ship, but aside from that it was smooth sailing.
One thing that kinda surprised me was the weaponry. According to Halo wiki, UNSC frigates are primarily missile based vessels, plus one MAC. My suggestion would be to replace the burst laser with a basic laser (as to simulate a MAC, provided you are not willing to dip into the waters of
weapon modding) and add three Leto launchers. This is effectively the same firepower as Kestrel B, while slightly harder due to the fact that one has to keep track of their missiles - actually a pretty good balancing decision since it means that a player must regulate their firepower, rather than constantly firing all weapons.
