Fullscreen Crash

Post by TRN »

Hi guys got a problem when trying to play the game. The game is too big in the window mode but switching it to any of the other settings ie. fullscreen the game crashes. When restarting the loading bar fills and it then freezes with the music continuing to play. The game becomes unresponsive so i have to minimise it to close.

Would be great it someone could find a solution. Thanks

This could be caused by a corrupt database, reinstalling the game could help fix it. But it's unlikely.

It is more likely to be a more complex video driver issue. Could you post some PC specs pls?

Display Adapter
OS
CPU
RAM
Anything else you think is usefull.

Also, what resolution are you trying to play at? Because the game requires 1280×720 as a minimum.

Im playing on a 40" Samsung at 1776x1000

Your specs are more than good enough to run the game, i can't understand why you're having issues. How is the game too big to play when in a window? Because the game should be in a window much smaller than your display.

When in window mode the crew, weapons and half the enemy ship are off the screen, not sure why. Is there any fix for the fullscreen crash?

I apologize for the very late reply. It sounds like you might be playing on a non-standard monitor, a TV perhaps? Usually when people use 40" TV's for monitors, they use Window's DPI scaling, are you doing so? Might be worth checking just in case, here's some more info here: http://www.howtogeek.com/175664/how-to- ... rry-fonts/
