Pulsar adds MY Zoltan Super Shield to Enemy Ship

Yesterday something weird happened, I just did the Zoltan cruiser mission and aquired a Zoltan super shield. In the next event I jumped into a pulsar and had to fight a standard rebel ship.

The first pulsar wave depleted my super shield, nothing happened to the enemy ship (enemy shield still up), the second pulsar wave depleted my normal shields, the enemy shields still were up and running.

From there on, with each pulsar wave, the enemy ship either gained a Zoltan super shield if it didn't have one, or lost it if it had one. This repeated until I was dead ... :)

I'm pretty sure the enemy had one of those new Shield Overcharger drones.
