Mind Control and capturing a ship...

Mind Controlled units are not taken into account when determining that a ship has been captured. The only way I've been able to capture a ship when using mind control has been to "beam" the unit aboard my ship and "flush them out an air lock".

Ideally I would like to be able to teleport the mind control unit to my ship and then release the mind control. Having them either turn hostile or offer to join my crew.

Mind controling the last crew memeber should automaticly end the fight. You control him to shut down the ship and you take over. Makes sense, you could even tell him to throw himself out the airlock after he powered down the ship so it makes complete sense that mind controling the last member would end the fight, much like if you board and kill everyone it's already finished.

Exactly. No matter how the fight ends, if you have control of the last crew member(s) of the other ship, the game should recognize the fight as over (it currently does not).
