Victories appear at an higher difficulty than earned

On the "List" page in the hangar, you can hover over "V" for each of the 10 ships and see the victories you earned for all three types of that ship.

I won the game with the Stealth C at hard and the Stealth type A/B at easy. However once I quit the game and logged back, I saw that Stealth A,B and C were all marked as being victorious on Hard on the list page!

It seems like winning the game with a type A/B/C ship on Normal/Hard will "upgrade" the victories for the two other types of that ship to this difficulty, if they were originally archived at a lower difficulty setting.

This may be a problem related to Steam Cloud - the victories were correctly identified until I closed the game and started it again.
