I have the advanced medbay (upgraded twice- 3 bars on the ship screen), but when I got the event with crazy cave guy Charlie, and I clicked the blue "use the medbay" option, it didn't give me a fully upgraded version of him ("I almost feel myself"), and the text said that I had an "improved medbay".
My medbay was unpowered when I jumped into the system, if that affects the bug.
Advanced Medbay not being recognised for event?
