[SOLVED] Can't find Lanius

I've got advanced edition enabled and all, but i never encountered a lanius ship / a lanius sector / a lanius crew member after 5 or 6 full runs. is it because i'm on easy or what?

I don't think so, but you could dial it up to Normal for a few runs and see. I'm positive they show up in Normal.

Though I think you may have just gotten extremely unlucky and not stumbled on any.

They are very common in the abandoned sector.

Oh wow I didn't think of that.

OP, there is no "Lanius Sector." They're in the Abandoned Sector.

yeah i already knew it was called abandoned sector, i called it lanius for convenience.
btw after another 2 runs i finally encountered one. i guess good ol' rng didn't want me to see them in action
