[MAC] Cannot find FTL file path

I currently new on MACs and I tried searching for the path to all my knowledge and could not find the folders that contained the data.dat and such, and I was hoping someone on here would know.

Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/
Doesn't work, the FTL only contains FTL.app

I don't have a Mac, but can't you search the entire drive for "data.dat"?

Failing that, my Windows install has it in a "resources" directory so try that, or even search for all "Faster Than Light" folders.

Excuse me, I misread your post. If you're looking for data.dat you need to actually go into the FTL.app. Those .app 'files' are actually folders in disguise, you can right click on it and choose "Explore" (or something similar). I assume that design is just to keep thing simpler for the user.
