I lost all my progress (Comp version)

So, my game froze up so I had to force close it. When I reloaded it later all of my ships and progress was gone. How can I fix this?

That tool posted by Dirka is definitely helpful.

I'm looking into what could cause that loss of a profile though. Terribly sorry about the problem.

Well I used the tool Dirka posted and got my progress back so thank you.
