Heya! I'm playing Advanced Edition now and i had 2 crashes in 2 days (today and yesterday). Today game crashed when i was jumping to next system. Yesterday, can't say for sure, but most likely i was jumping to next system too.
When i played 1.3.3 (i.e. game before AE) i never had segfaults.
Version is 1.5.10. GNU/Linux. 32 bit. NO mods.
Error in console is: "Caught crash seg fault."
PS: i'm attaching a tarball with directory ~/.local/share/FasterThanLight. It has crash.04.26.00.42.txt and crash.04.27.19.11.txt files, which may be useful in detecting a bug. Also save files are present, just in case (save is unaltered (i didn't run the game, after it crashed).

Re: [GNU/Linux] Advanced Edition random crashes
Sorry about the crashes!
Can you run directly from a terminal and post any output from a game that crashes?
As a generic thing for random crashes, people do find it can help to enable the frame limiter or v-sync from within FTL options.

Sure. Here is the output to console:
Loading Arch = x86
Initializing Crash Catcher...
Initializing Video
Video Initialized
Opengl version = 2.1.2 NVIDIA 304.121
Starting audio library...
Audio Initialized!
Resource Preload: 10.098
Loading text....
Initializing animations...
Animations Initialized!
Loading Ship Blueprints....
Blueprints Loaded!
Initializing Sound Data....
Generating world...
Loading achievements...
Loading score file...
Running Game!
When the game crashes, additional line appears, "Caught crash seg fault".
I have both frame limiter and vsync turned on in FTL's options.
