I've been playing the advanced edition for about a week, and while looking up info about a few events, I've realized that I've been in events where I should have had a blue option for my Lanius crew members, but I have never gotten one.
Events that I have not received a Lanius crew option despite having Lanius on my ship:
Malfunctioning defense satellite (I get ion, Engi, and cloak options, but no Lanius option)
Virus (I get Engi option, but no Lanius option)
Lanius trader with advanced translator
Not sure if there are other events that I should have gotten a Lanius event with, but I'm sure I've never seen any blue option from my Lanius crew.
In all cases, I've been using the Layout A Lanius cruiser, easy mode, no mods.

There are two Lanius trader events. One of them has no blue option, but has the option to "Decline but ask about their translation device."Ilmoran wrote:Lanius trader with advanced translator
