Could just be user error

It could just be me being stupid but I recently got FTL on my computer and I can't seem to move my crew around.

I have tried clicking on them, clicking their names, and selecting them by dragging but nothing seems to get them to move.

Once crew are selected you right-click on the room you want them to move to. This is explained in the tutorial?
