I think they both look good lol although orange to me seams more like a utility colour than anything else.

I'm curious why go with the empire/rebel thing? also that you have the empire been good and rebels been bad?

That's how revolutionary this game is! The establishment are the good guys for once!

I do like the new designs, they seem more aggressive and threatening.

I like the new designs, but actually like the old color scheme a bit better. As much as i love orange (Go Gators!), imo it always looks best as an accent color. Now, if you'd like to throw some blue in with that orange you'd really be on to something ...

I'm with him to a degree. Add blue and I'm going to demand a refund though. (Then again Orange and Blue has always meant the enemy) Hey CEO, how bout that Crimson Tide?

I think it should be more red as that is tradionaly rebel colours while blue is more empire colours

Did a quick mock up with gimp and huh/satuation here

Well see more red looks more rebel.

Hmm maybe you might want to do a full colur line up of the different ships and see which one suits your image of the game. Don't have to follow sterotypes.

Lived in Tuscaloosa for 7 years (until last year actually), worked at Bama for a short stint and my wife got her Masters there. Oh ya, and my company has a box there that I am lucky enough to use once or twice a year. Can't say i bleed Crimson, but if the Gators aren't playing i'm generally rooting for Bama.

As long as we keep the National Championships in the SEC, I'm a pretty happy camper. Would be nice to see Muschamp rebuild what Urban left in ruins though.

Well that just takes the fun out of things. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a Auburn or Tennessee fan on here we can all share our irrational dislike for.

To the yankees and others wondering what we're going on about: It's a SEC thing, you wouldn't understand.
