When you have rebel soldier teleported on your ship and he wanna join your ship, you have chance that he will damage it, but in AE you can see human in option, so you know when he'll join and when he won't.

Weird, I've had this option come up several times and I've never seen the person icon, though I'm sure I've gotten the person before. Maybe it was the Mantis from the mantis/engi event.

I'll keep an eye out for that from now on for sure, though. I can't imagine they intended it to be that way

Maybe they added smiliar event in which it's obvious that he's going to join, but i doubt it.
