Hi I just realised when I went through your webpage to get to the forum that it has not been updated from when you did the kickstarter. I know your busy making the game but stil the main website is where most people will get there information from and while the webpage is nice I think it might be time for you to think about getting a new one to compliment your status it does not really look like the page of a professional game company more like a ftl fan site :/
here is a good example of a webpage been upgraded.
In the indi section they mention a game called salvation prophecy check out there page http://www.salvationprophecy.com Now check out there page before it was updated http://web.archive.org/web/201102080448 ... phecy.com/
Its a massive difference.
If you guys don't have much time to redo the page think about contracting it out.
Time for a new website

Re: Time for a new website
I'm going to come down on the "the website is fine" side of the argument.
Would a better site be good? Sure, but not so good that I would rather them spend money and/or time updating it rather than the game. They will probably want to do so towards the end of the beta ... but now? Features over pretty paint please (unless the feature is pretty paint for the ships!
)
Oh, and i don't know what their business model looks like, but if they did decide to look at the site now, maybe there is a website pro in the community willing to do it on the cheap/for recognition and pretty pictures. That way the devs could focus on making things go "boom" in space.
