Mouse Lag issues even after driver update

Hi,

I'm currently experiencing the mouse lag issues I've seen commented on multiple times. I've attempted updating drivers as well as uninstalling and re-installing, as well as trying turning on and off all features and in and out of full screen mode.

I'm using windows 8.1 64 bit on an ati firepro v3700 card with a intel xeon W3550 cpu.

AMD decided to drop all support for their older video cards with Windows 8. So the available drivers are generally insufficient for a lot of things, and FTL seems to have been hit especially hard by this. Can you email me a dxdiag dump (techsupport@ftlgame.com)? Where are you updating your drivers from, as I don't see any official option for Windows 8 with that card.

Have you tried the drivers offered by HP, your computer's manufacturer? Looks like there are some available here:

I wasn't even able to install the drivers from HP. I just keep getting an "Setup has detected an incomplete build. Setup will now exit."

Tried downloading twice, same issue both times.

You might want to contact HP about how to update your video drivers, they might be able to help.
