Tested under Linux Mint 17.3 KDE. Wine was pre-installed, double-clicked on Windows installer, twice confirmed downloading some Gecko component, finished installing without hiccups. Game launched at the end of installation and I've played the tutorial and first two island missions without problems so far. Though obviously not as nice as a native Linux version, it seems to work (so far).
A desktop icon to (re)start the game also works as intended.

Works for me on Void Linux. Also tested on Manjaro. Still waiting for the Linux native

Also works great under MacOS High Sierra + Wine 3.0 + Windows GOG installer.
