Sudgestion: sell/discard unwanted weapons

I have repeatedly found great weapons but was unable to take them because my cargo was full.

Just now I found a Fire Beam floating is space and was so excited and ready to equip my new weapon only to find that I didn't really get it because my cargo was full of lower-tier weapons. Que a lot of frustration.

Anyone feel the same ore have something similar happen?

You can sell your weapons and cargo at any given shop. However, a discard option for a weapon would be nice.

I didn't notice the sell option. Guess the fault is mine.
